Smartphone makers cant get enough of ‘notch’ these days. The iphone X started the trend and all the other phone makers have happily obliged, but can they at least stop naming their devices as ‘x’ ? Every smartphone is so happy to fix an ‘x’ to the end of their model name and Oppo joins the list too with Oppo Find x. The big news is that this might just Oppo’s flagship device.

The phone is a successor of Oppo find 7 and the word that went around was that it would be named as Oppo 9. But with it being named X and with the lineage of X phones, one can expect Oppo’s new phone to have some killer specs. As we speak, all we have to speculate on is the name and nothing else.
Oppo Find 7 was a smartphnoe that was released in 2014. It featured a 5.5 inch QHD display with snapdragon 801 powering it. It also had 3GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel rear shooter. So the Oppo find X definitely has to be a few steps ahead of Oppo 7 and we expect snapdragon 845 to feature in the phone. Oppo’s recent phones have all been using Snapdragon 600 series chipsets.
The Oppo Find X will definitely have at least 2 cameras at the rear(it has become the norm these days), will feature very thin bezels probabaly and as usual the Color OS of Oppo will sit on top of android. We will update you as soon as more information surfaces, but we hope this will not just be a camera centric phone but will also be a performance beast.
