Sridevi was posthumously honoured with the National Award for the Best Actress for her role in her 300th film ‘Mom’. While Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi collected the award given out by President Ram Nath Kovind on May 3, Arjun Kapoor was not present at the 65th National Film Awards ceremony.
Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor had reportedly invited Arjun and his sister Anshula Kapoor to join them at the 65th National Film Awards. Arjun Kapoor, however, reportedly refused to join them. The reason behind Arjun Kapoor’s refusal is a noble one and will win fans’ hearts. The report quotes a close family member as saying that Arjun and Anshula wanted the memorable moment to be ‘owned’ by Janhvi and Khushi only.
