Xiaomi has enjoyed a good run for the previous few years. The Chinese tech giant has been adding products to its array of devices and it seems they are all set to launch a new smart phone on May 10 which is codenamed ” Valentino” and the official name is so far unknown. It could be a device in the ‘S’ series of Redmi. The device was spotted on geek-bench with codename “Valentino” and a few other specs of the phone seem to have leaked. The device scored 1485 points in Geekbench single core test and 5440 in multin core-tests.

The phone will probably feature the all new Snapdragon 638 processor, Snapdragon’s latest addition in to the 600 series of processors. Xiaomi has always been a company where snapdragon processors made their debut. Redmi note 5 was the phone which employed snapdragon 636 for the first time and it worked out so well for the phone. There is no reason why ‘Valentino’ can’t repeat its success. At a clock speed of 1.44 GHZ and with eight cores, the phone is rumoured to have 6 GB of RAM. The phone, in all likelihood will run android 8.1 out of the box.
Xiaomi has reportedly improved the Artificial Intelligence features of its camera to offer a tough challenge to Oppo and Vivo phones which does good business with their selfie centric phones. The Xiaomi’s AI will add the ‘beauty’ feature for portraits and selfies. Xiaomi mid rangers have offered great value for money and if it is priced aggressively, the smart phone maker will continue its success story in India.
