In a horrific turn of events, a bride masters a plan to kill her husband and executes it as well successfully. Well, almost. Here is how the incidents took place.
Andhra Pradesh based Gouri Shankar Rao and his new wife Saraswati had lived just 10 days together before the husband died last night at ITDA Park in Vizianagaram, it is learnt that the bride, Saraswati planned the attack along with her boyfriend, Shiva.
According to the police, Gouri Shankar Rao from Chitlapudivalasa village in Srikakulam district married to Saraswati from Kadekalla village in Veeraghatlam mandal of the same district on April 28. Saraswati came in contact with Shiva through Facebook and following which they were involved in a relationship. But her parents fixed her marriage with their relative Gouri Shankar Rao even after she rejected the proposal. She was later forced into marriage with Rao.
Saraswati, who was reluctant to marry Gouri Shankar Rao, planned the deadly attack which was carried out by Siva and Saripalli Rama Krishna, a local thug with two attempts to murder cases against him, hired by the boyfriend; and two B Tech graduates Merugu Gopi and Gurrala Bangaruraju.
Saraswati had given her wedding ring as a payment.

As per the plan, after 10 days of the marriage, she went shopping to Vizianagaram with her husband. While returning, she hired an auto-rickshaw, whose driver was also part of the plan. The accused had promised him some cash, one whisky bottle and diesel.
While the couple left the market in auto-rickshaw, Shiva and another person followed them on a bike. On the way to home, Saraswati stopped the auto-rickshaw on the pretext of going to the washroom while her husband waited there.
Unsuspectedly, Shiva and other person attacked Gouri Shankar Rao with an iron rod killing him on the spot. Both the accused left the spot immediately after killing the husband.
Saraswathi then lodged a case at Garugubilli police station of Parvathipuram sub-division saying three unidentified men had killed her husband, Yamaka Gowrishankar and robbed her bridal jewellery around 8 pm at ITDA park.
However, during investigation police found that Saraswati made a long phone call to Shiva. During further investigation police came to know about the actual plot.
Police have registered a case and have arrested the suspects. The culprit, both his accomplices and Saraswati are now in police custody.
Superintendent of Police Palaraju arranged press meet on Tuesday evening and revealed the fact that the attack on Gourisankara Rao was a pre-meditated one and had been masterminded by his wife. The reason behind the murder is stated to be her reluctance to marry him.
