Karnataka is currently under the polling fever, with a promise of 4.9 crore voters exercising their franchise in the 56696 polling booths.
There is no visible trend in favour of any political party in this election, which brings in the million dollar question: who will be the next Chief Minister of the state? In the 3-cornered battle, the Congress, BJP and the JD(S) main candidates are all aspiring to the next CM in this bitter contest.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the voters, particularly the youth to exercise their rights:

The state’s current CM Siddaramaiah too urged the people to cast their votes:

BJP President too, requests the people to vote in his tweet: “Voting is the voice of the people living in a democracy. Please don’t forget to vote for a Nava Karnataka. By voting for a deserving candidate, ensure that you fulfil your responsibility to bring a just government to power. Please vote today without fail.”
Congress President Rahul Gandhi has welcomed the voters: “The voter turnout is a sign of dynamic democracy. I welcome all my young friends who are voting for the first time in Karnataka.”

Meanwhile, the voters have been asked to cast their votes quickly, as the weather forecast seems to be not in favour of the state. Although sunny, it is likely to rain in the poll-bound state, according to the weather report.
Stating ‘Vasthu Shastra’, Wife of JD(S) candidate GT Deve Gowda in CM Siddaramaiah’s turf of Chamundeshwari force election personnel to shift the EVM machine to a “better place.
Meanwhile, JD(S) leader, HD Deva Gowda is sure of his party’s victory in the state and will form the next government. He said: “There will be an increase in voting this time. People want to remove the Siddaramaiah government from Karnataka. People will come out in large numbers.”
