You changed your mother’s brain
A mothers life changes with pregnancy and so does her brain. According to a study published in the journal Nature ‘Neuroscience’, Pregnancy changes the size and structure of brain regions involved in understanding the thoughts, feelings, etc. So you did a lot more to her brain than you thought you did.
Baby and mom’s voice
You fell in love with your mother’s voice even before you were born. Scientists have found that there is an increased rate of heartbeat and other responses in a foetus while they hear their mothers voice. Even dads voice doesn’t come close to making such changes in the baby.
The diaper stat.
Wanna know some fun stats about your mom changing your diapers.? By the time a child celebrates his second birthday, an average mom would have changed their child’s diaper 7300 times. What about her speed? Well for one diaper change she takes about 2 minutes and 12 seconds. Not bad, isn’t it?
Babies name ‘mothers ‘
One of the first sound a baby pronounces is a ‘ma’ like sound and understandably all languages have the word ‘mother’ much similar to each other. In Hindi its ‘ma’, in Spanish and Chinese its mama, in English its mom and so on.
Breast milk is like medicine
You knew it, but you didn’t appreciate the extent of its potential. It can even prevent HIV. Recent researchers have shown that breastfed babies have a lesser chance of being infected by the HIV virus because breastmilk has chemicals that can prevent the virus from developing. Now if that doesn’t impress you, I don’t know what will.
