A 10-month-old girl died after accidentally falling from her mother s arm while she posed for a selfie on an escalator.
The woman lost her balance when her husband asked for a selfie. The baby slipped from her arms and hit the railing of the escalator before falling down.
The incident, caught on camera, was reported in a shopping mall in Rajasthan, India. The family was on a visit to a medical clinic and had later decided to do shopping.

The mum was traveling up the third floor of the CGR Mall escalator at Ganganagar in Rajasthan, India when the horrific accident took place.

CCTV footage shows that the shopping centre was gripped by chaos as those who witnessed the incident raced to try and help.
However, the fall proved to be fatal. The baby was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead by medics.
Parents of the baby could be seen happily posing for a selfie just moment before tragedy struck.
