Veena Nair found her way to the big screen from Miniscreen through the viewer support which she got from her comical roles. An avid traveler, even between her busy acting schedules she never misses a chance to globetrot. She recounted a strange experience during such a travel to a private channel.
A memorable trip to Dubai with her husband and friends was a cherishing one too for her thanks to the travel through the love bound Promising Bridge. The Promising Bridge has a legend associated with it. It is said that if one writes his/her lover’s name in a paper, put it in a box, close it with a lock and throw the key to the lake near the bridge, that love will last forever! But Veena jokingly recounted that she and her husband would be the first couple to quarrel at the Promising Bridge. The reason was that she had forgotten to take the lock and the key when they went to the bridge.

It was during their visit to Jabal al Jais in Ras Al Khaimah, they encountered a strange thing. Before she explained the strange encounter, she told the channel reporters about a beautiful sight they wanted to enjoy at Jabal Al Jais. The mesmerizing sight was the sun rising up from between two hills. The team reached there at night and put up tents there for the stay. Their plan was to watch the once in a lifetime sight of that beautiful sunrise.
The Strange thing
During night time Jabal Al Jais would be covered in extreme darkness and they only had the torches in their hands to survive the night. Near the steep hill ranges, there is a gorge like place there. Veena’s cousin saw a strange white thing there which frightened him and made him fall down. He got minor injuries and their trip ended in the hospital next day.
Veena like the most family trips. All though she had visited many places as part of the shows, the enjoyment in a family trip was entirely different, she said.
