Mayor asks Corporators to play a role in Ramzan arrangements

GHMC Mayor Dr. B. Rammohan has appealed all the Corporators to play an active role in making arrangements for the month of Ramzan.

The Mayor informed that the Telangana Government plans to provide two lakhs gift packs to Muslims as a part of Ramzan celebrations in the mosques in the GHMC limits. Therefore, he said all corporators should play an active role in their respective division to make the programme a grand success.

Each Deputy Commissioner has been assigned five divisions each for controlled and flow of conduct of the distribution during Ramzan festival.

The Mayor, along with Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy and other officials held a review meeting at discuss the arrangements at GHMC Head Office today.

Rammohan said that the GHMC has taken up a lot of works with regard to road repairing, potholes, streetlights, arrangements of temporary streetlights in lanes and by lanes for the convenience of the citizens in the areas where Mosques are situated.
