Overnight oats are so easy to make and you can change it up by swapping with different fruits, nuts, and seeds. The original recipe calls for chia seeds but Nour and I swapped it with flaxseeds when we were making our overnight oats. If you like your oats a little thinner, add in extra milk. I like to add my nuts at the top of my jar so they stay crunchy until the morning.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tsp Maple syrup
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 Tbsp dark chocolate chips
10 almonds
3-4 strawberries, sliced
Directions:
In a mason jar, add rolled oats, milk, and Greek yogurt. Add the remaining ingredients and cover with lid. Place in the refrigerator overnight. When ready to serve, remove the lid and stir well.
