“There was a time we had only very few MLAs in Karnataka, we have worked hard from that position. People showed their anger against Congress during voting”.

He had some touching words for the farmers too.

“I tried to give land to Farmers, I wiped their tears. I am ready to dedicate my whole life to farmers. I wanted to waive off loans up to 1 lakh and provide  food for at least 1.5 lakh farmers. Farmers and Dalits must happily live together. Congress couldn’t protect farmers or minorities. I sat down with people and listened to their problems. I went to people’s house and lived with them. Congress couldn’t even provide drinking water to people”.

He said Modi always had a soft corner for Karnataka.

“Modi has helped Karnataka even Congress was in power. PM was always ready to help people of Karnataka. The state has a lot of resources to share. P M never discriminated against Karnataka”.

Yeddyurappa said he could have done wonders to the state had he won.

“Karnatka only needs honest politicians. I have faced the test by fire all my life. BJP has full faith in democracy. If only I had got 113 seats I would have changed the face of Karnataka”.
