After Emerging as the Biggest Party in Karnataka, BJP now Focuses on Telangana

BJP may have failed to grab power in Karnataka, but it was obvious what the will of the people was. BJP emerged as the single largest party with 104 seats, but as things turned out, the party with the 38 seats is going to rule the state. The wish of the people may have been subverted by some political horse trading but the ruling party at the centre is known for keeping it’s focus on the next job as soon as one is done. The natakas in karnataka may not be over yet, but Telangana would be one of the new area of focus for BJP as it prepares for the polls in 2019.

Legislative Assembly Polls of Telangana would be held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha Elections of 2019. State BJP  President  K Laxman said ‘Recently, a meeting was held in Delhi under the leadership of president Amit Shah ji. He focused on Telangana. He clearly told that now elections are over in the states which are bound to take place. Now, the focus will be on Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Orissa’.

BJP has already made giant strides in improving it’s organisational strength in Telangana. Its successful model of Panna Pramukh is expected to be followed in Telengana. Infact already in 40 -50 constituencies, this exercise is over. The method here is that the in charge of a Panna(which translates to page) reaches out to the voters families who are part of his list.

The BJP will have its task cut out in Telangana but there is already a growing dissent against the poor administration of TRS government.  BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav, Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Bihar Minister Mangal Pandey have been given the charge of 17 constituencies.

BJPs chances will be boosted if it can make sure people are convinced about the achievements of Narendra Modi Government and the funds given by Centre to Telengana in areas like highways , Ujjwala yojana, railway projects etc.
