Amit Shah gets a hit back from designated CM Kumaraswamy

BS Yeddyurappa had resigned making way for the new CM HD Kumaraswamy. As like the others the Congress-JD(S) celebrations were faced with contempt and ridicule from the opposition.

BJP President Amit Shah had termed the Congress-JD(S) alliance as “unholy alliance” on Monday.

Shah told a press conference: “The BJP has emerged as the single largest party in Karnataka. Our vote share saw a major increase, our seats were increased. The mandate was clearly anti-Congress and there is no confusion in the nature of the mandate. What is the Congress celebrating? More than half of their ministers lost. The chief minister lost from one seat. Similarly, why is the JD(S) celebrating? For getting 37 seats?”

This was slammed by the designated CM DH Kumaraswamy. He hits back at the BJP President’s “unholy alliance”.

Kumaraswamy had also commented on the party President’s absence since the Karnataka elections results were announced.

Targeting questions to Shah on social media, Kumaraswamy said, “It will be one week since Karnataka election results were declared. During this period, Shah had literally disappeared. Today, I noticed him appearing before media and criticising coalition in Karnataka. He has asked the JD(S) and the Congress what we are celebrating. We are celebrating the fact that a secular government is being formed by keeping a communal party, which rules by dividing people into the lines of caste and religion at arms distance.”

“What is a holy alliance? Was it trying to purchase legislators elected on some other party symbol?” he said.
