The BJP leader, Yeddyurappa had resigned his position as the Chief Minister leaving the post of the CM open for the Congress-JD(S) candidate Kumaraswamy.

Kumaraswamy is swear-in on Wednesday, the 23rd of May 2018 at 04:30 PM in the afternoon.
The oath is too take place on the steps of Vihan Soudhan and is to be attended by a flurry of anti-opposition leaders.
