Dates play an inherent role in Iftar. Historically dates along with water have been used for breakfast. All though this set precedence by the Prophet Mohammad Nabi has nowadays changed to grand feasts, still dates occupy prime importance in the holy month of Ramadan. Today lets try out a tasty and healthy dish using dates and blue cheese. The following recipe may be used to serve 2 and the total cooking time won’t exceed 20 minutes.
Stuffed Dates with Blue Cheese
Ingredients
1. Dates(8 nos., seedless or deseeded)
2.1/4 cup Blue Cheese
3.1 Tbsp Parsley, chopped
4.2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
How to make
Take a bowl and put the blue cheese in it. Mash it till it becomes smooth. Put the Parsley in it and mix well. To this mixture add walnuts and mix again. Now take a spoon, using it fill the mixture in the dates and serve. Ramadan Kareem.
