A recent CCTV footage from Shastri Nagar metro station has revealed that a 21-year-old boy, identified as Mayur Patel was trying to cross the metro tracks, in front of a metro train which was standing.
However, the train started moving, just as he was about to get on to the other side of the platform. His buffoonery has been captured in the video, and the railway authorities later fined him. He was lucky that this mistake didn’t cost him his life and there were no injuries as well.

According to the report from ANI, it was during questioning; he claimed that he did not know, how to get on to the other side of the platform, so he crossed the track.

These incidents, of people crossing the tracks, trying to board or disembark from a moving train is a common scene in the Mumbai locals as well. In the month of April, an RPF personnel saved a woman from slipping under the train in Mumbai.
His presence of mind and promptness saved a life. But, not every time, everyone is lucky!
