School Warden Dresses up as Ghost to Molest Girls

Ghosts that molest girls might exist in movies, but if that’s happening to someone in real life, there will be a brain behind it.  Eight girls from Kasturba Gandhi Residential School in Meerut Block have sent letters to district magistrate explaining their encounter with ‘ghost’ at night. They have also written that the ghosts molested them. A probe is already underway. But according to the girls, it’s their warden who covers her face and walks around the premises at midnight to spread the scare everyday.

The girls studying in classes VI, VII and VIII have written the letters. One of the letter reads “She carries a perfume-like liquid with her and keeps spraying it on certain girls. She also whispers, pretending to talk to a girl that doesn’t exist. She pulls our clothes and at times even arms and legs but we do not budge or open our eyes”.

A girl studying in class VIII wrote ” Our warden has also taken a few girls outside the school premises at night. She also came to my room and touched me inappropriately when I was half-asleep and I continued to pretend that I was asleep, “

An enquiry is already underway. The parents of a few girls had approached the police a few days before. Meerut basic shiksha adhikari Satendra Kumar said “An inquiry, headed by the Kasturba Gandhi schools’ district coordinator and block education officer, has been set up. Prima facie, it has come to our knowledge that the children were being scared as part of a tiff between a full-time teacher and the warden. For the molestation charges, role of a class IV staff is being suspected. As soon the report is submitted, appropriate and strict action will be taken “

Meanwhile, the accused warden Poonam Bharti has denied the charges and demanded an investigation in the matter. “I’ve demanded investigation in this matter and have also told the authorities to check the CCTV footage. The truth will automatically be out,” Bharti said.
