The CM of Karnataka is waiting for the Congress leaders to get approval from high command. The Congress leaders have already taken a chartered flight to New Delhi to discuss this with their leaders.
When asked the question on portfolio allocation and demand of waving off loans he said ” will try not to take up an issue as a prestige issue and try to solve a problem.. Otherwise I will see. I will not stick to this post, leaving my self esteem.”. But then he said he should also understand the financial situation of the state before announcing the loan waiver. He reiterated that he becoming the chief minister was not out of any selfish motive
Kumaraswamy also made it clear that he isn’t going to meet Congress leader Rahul Gandhi or his mother Sonia Gandhi. It has already been decided that the state cabinet will have 22 ministers from Congress and 12 from JD(S).
