Trump had been using an unsecured Android phone until early last year but finally, he was convinced by the administration to trade that in for an iPhone. And what happens to be an otherwise rare announcement, it was officially confirmed by White House director of social media Dan Scavino Jr in a tweet.

Narendra Modi

Indian Prime Minister Modi seems to be having not just one, but two phones. On various occasions, Modi has been spotted with an iPhone…other than that, the Indian prime minister has also been seen to be using Samsung’s Android phones too.

Rahul Gandhi

We find at least one thing common between Narendra Modi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi. Rahul appears to be an ardent iPhone fan… at least, that’s what phones he was spotted with during public appearances suggest.

Kim Jong Un

There is no clarity on what phone North Korean leader Kim Jong-un uses…perhaps the only time when he was spotted with a phone was back in 2013 during his meeting with national security advisers. Various speculations were made about the handset. In fact, the picture was analysed by the South’s intelligence agency and HTC was finally concluded to be the likely manufacturer.

Mohammed bin Salman

It’s just not high-end phones, leaders also use basic phones as well. Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was recently seen showing off his two phones at an event. One of them appears to be a basic Nokia phone and the other a top-of-the-line Android handset.

Emmanuel Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron’s official photo posted last year featured two phones at his desk. It was difficult to spot make of the phones, but an aide of the President, through a video posted on Twitter, said the text message sound of one of the phones suggested it was an iPhone.

Justin Trudeau

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was spotted wearing an Apple watch during a cross-country town hall, which clearly suggests that he too owns an iPhone, quite like other leaders, earlier he had a blackberry.

Vladimir Putin

Early this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin clarified that he still does not have a smartphone… and not just this, he also has no interest in joining any social media networks too.
