Four men were arrested and three juveniles apprehended for allegedly making fun of a man dressed as goddess Kali and then stabbing him to death. According to a PTI report, the body of the man was found from the NSIC jungle with multiple stab injuries on the chest, face and head.
The deceased was identified as Kaku, and his dead body was handed over to his brother for the final rites. Reportedly, Kalu used to spend time with transgenders and was a devotee of ‘Maa Kali’. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, he would project himself as the goddess, wearing a black salwar suit with a red chunni and anklets. On the night, he was murdered, he was dressed as goddess Kali.

During the police probe, the accused revealed that they had consumed alcohol, and were near the NSIC jungle main gate when they saw Kalu passing. They started mocking him for his attire. He was dragged and stabbed with a swiss knife. Kalu died on the spot, and the victim fled from the scene with their respective motorcycles.
