UDF party called for a hartal in Wayanad District, Kerala. The Dawn-To-Dusk hartal is called for protesting against the death of 11-year-old by the attack of a wild elephant.
Protesters also demanded to capture Vadakkanad Komban, a wild Elephant after the incident. At the same time, organized women are on a hunger in front of forest office for the last 9 days demanding the same.

Also demanding the same, people blocked Sulthan Bathery-Pulpalli road under the leadership of UDF MLA IC Balakrishnan, Member of Parliament IM Shanavas.
CPM party also come forward in protest against the death of the minor boy.
