RJD wins Jokihat assembly seat. The RJD has won the Jokihat Assembly bypoll by over 4,000 votes. Shahnawaz Alam defeated the JD(U)’s Murshid Alam.

Silli is one of the 81 Assembly seats in Jharkhand. By-poll in Silli was necessitated because of the disqualification of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLA Amit Kumar Mahato following his conviction in a manhandling case. Silli is part of Ranchi Parliamentary constituency.JMM wins Silli, Jharkhand Bypoll. JMM’S Comfortable win.
