Santhosh pandit may have been in the limelight for wrong reasons, but there is not doubt that in recent times his fame has shot up. He even played a role in the Mammootty starrer Masterpiece which did okay at the box office. Pandit’s latest film, ‘Urukku Satheeshan’ is all set to hit theatres on June 1st and the actor-director has something to say about it.

Santhosh pandit says that if Urukku Satheeshan fails at the box office, he will make a second part for it and make it a success and smash the record of Aadu 2, a Jayasurya movie which was a roaring success at the boxoffice after a lacklustre performance by its prequel. Whether Pandit was talking about beating the collection records of Aadu 2 or was he just intending to talk about his wish to make a more successful second part after a mediocre first part is still unclear. But in all probability, the former seems to be the case as he has modest targets for Urukku Satheeshan. “I will be happy only if Urukku Satheeshan collects 10 lakhs at least ” said the actor.
He further added that Urukku Satheeshan is not a ‘mass’ film, or neither does it have extravagant shots or Telugu film-like action, but that it is a very realistic movie. Pandit says his film is devoid of any scenes that involve drugs, alcohol , smoking or misogynistic dialogues. He requested the audience to set aside the usual notions of actors while watching this film. “This is not the film of Santhosh Pandit the star, but Santhosh Pandit the actor” he said.
