When he entered the second time, he was joined by five others. All the six men, wielding knives threatened Raghav to hand over the jewellery.
A panic-stricken Raghav shouted for help. Before the robbers could lay their hands on the jewellery, Raghav’s daughter entered the showroom and she, along with her father succeeded in pushing the robbers out.
The robbers were taken aback and ran away as they feared that the passersby may gather and catch them.
The entire incident was caught on the CCTV camera at the showroom. After examining the CCTV footage, the police said that most of the robbers were juvenile and not professional thieves.
“By looking at their behaviour we could easily make out that they weren’t professional thieves or perhaps it was their first attempt. We could not identify them. However, a manhunt is on to nab them,” the police said.
