There are many celebrities who lost their lives in 2017 and 2018.The entire nation is mourning over the loss of iconic Bollywood actress ‘Sridevi’. She left the world merely at the age of 54 years. Let’s check out the list of Bollywood celebs who died in 2017 and 2018.
1) Om Puri
Veteran actor ‘Om Puri’ was one of the best character actors in Bollywood. The versatile actor is remembered by his fans for splendid performances in Malamaal Weekly, Hera Pheri, Don 2, Singh Is Kinng, Chachi 420, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Maqbool, Delhi-6, Billu, The Ghazi Attack etc. The 66-year-old star passed away due to cardiac arrest on January 6 last year.
2) Reema Lagoo
‘Reema Lagoo’ portrayed the iconic roles of caring mother in Bollywood films. The late actress worked in several blockbuster movies such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Saath Saath Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Vaastav: The Reality, Saajan, Aashiqui, Rangeela, Hum Aapke Hain Koun…! etc. She died due to heart failure on May 18 in 2017.
3) Vinod Khanna
Veteran star ‘Vinod Khanna’ lost his life due to bladder cancer on 27th July last year. The death of 70s superstar is a big loss to the nation. However, the iconic actor will always remain with us through his power-packed performances in superhit films such as Chandni, Insaaf, Amar Akbar Anthony, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar etc.

4) Neeraj Vora
Bollywood actor and film-maker ‘Neeraj Vora’ died due to cancer on December 14 in 2017. Hera Pheri 2 fame director has worked as an actor in many blockbuster films such as Mann, Daud, Khiladi 420, Baadshah, Hello Brother, Mast, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega… etc. The late actor lost his life merely at the age of 54 years.
5) Inder Kumar
The supporting actor ‘Inder Kumar’ lost his life merely at the age of 44 years. He has given brilliant performances in side roles in superhit films such as Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaaye, Wanted, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge etc. Inder landed into depression due to lack of money and work in the film industry. He died due to heart attack on July 28 in 2017.
6) Ram Mukerji
Film-maker ‘Ram Mukerji’ took his last breath on October 22 last year. He was one of the founders of Mumbai’s Filmayala studio. Besides producing his daughter Rani Mukerji’s debut movie ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat’, he directed superhit film ‘Hum Hindustani’. Ram couldn’t see his daughter making comeback in Bollywood with ‘Hichki’.
7) Shashi Kapoor
Veteran actor ‘Shashi Kapoor’ died on December 4 last year. The 79-year-old actor who has worked in more than 145 movies lost his life due to liver failure. The iconic Bollywood star has given brilliant performances in many blockbuster films such as Jab Jab Phool Khile, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Deewaar, Suhaag, Namak Halaal etc.
