Selfies often put a smile on your lips, but this one will send a shudder of cold down your spine. Debra Demetriou, from Benton, Newcastle, a mother of two, was sleeping on bed with her phone under the pillow, but somehow the phone has captured a blurry picture of her nap. She is convinced that there were nobody else at her home when the picture was taken and that the house was locked
Debra said: “There was nobody else in the house at the time – I was completely freaked out.” Her older son left for work about 45 minutes before the picture was taken and her other son was with her husband. The house showed no sign of break-in or no presence of anyone from outside, yet her Samsung Galaxy S7, which was still under the pillow when she woke up, has captured this photo. It totally defies logic.
Debra said: “I know you shouldn’t, but my phone had been under my pillow when I fell asleep.
“It was still there the next morning.
“I held down the picture to see the movement, and you can see both my arms are by my side so it couldn’t even have been a selfie.
“And my eyes are half-open – if someone else had been in the room I’m sure I would have noticed them.
“I’m absolutely convinced nobody else was in the house.”
Debra cannot stop thinking who could have taken the picture. Paranormal Invetigator Sammy Rawlinson has called the image as ‘spooky’, He said “Spirits do things to get our attention.
“If someone has passed in the last year, it could be them trying to get their attention”.
Is that her first odd experience? Debra says Pictures of her sons last birthday contained, according to a clairvoyant “ghosts of deceased family members”.
