WhatsApp group admin killed after fight over WhatsApp message
In a tragic incident, a fight over a message on WhatsApp group in Sonepat, Haryana turned fatal after a 28-year-old man was killed and three of his brothers were injured. The victim, identified as Love Johar, was allegedly beaten to death by a group of men outside the main accused’s house late on Sunday night.

As per the report, police said that the deceased was the admin of a WhatsApp group, titled ‘Johars’, which had members including the residents of the area belonging to the same ‘gotra’ or ‘clan’ of Johars.
The WhatsApp group was reportedly created to ensure that all community members could interact and take collective decisions, including the decision on which party to vote during elections, investigating officer Shri Krishan told.
The incident took place after Love accidentally shared a personal photo on the group on the messaging platform while he was dinner on Sunday, Love’s brother Ajay was quoted as saying by the daily. Reportedly, the photo prompted the accused, Dinesh alias Bunty Johri, to pick up an argument with Love, with the former calling the latter to come to his house to discuss the issue.
Ajay told , “Love and three of my brothers went to Bunty’s house, where he and his family attacked them out of the blue with bricks and sticks.”
Meanwhile, a case of murder has been registered against six members of Dinesh’s family, including his wife, police said. Cops added that all the accused were currently on the run.
