Days after Bharatiya Janta Party faced major defeat in Kairana and Noorpur by-polls, under the leadership of PM Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, every party office is set to have statues of both leaders.
The statues have been specially designed by a Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh artist.
The decision to put Yogi and Modi statues in the state’s party offices has led to many fingers being pointed at the party, as its leaders had at length slammed former state CM Mayawati for placing her statues in various parts of the states; which led to ‘waste’ of the huge amount of money.

Miniature statues of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Yogi Adityanath will now adorn the offices of BJP in all 75 districts.
This, incidentally, will be the first time that the BJP will be following the statue culture which was initiated by the Bahujan Samaj Party. BJP offices have photographs of their ideologues, including Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, but statues are not common.
The BSP, on the other hand, has been promoting the statue culture and Ms. Mayawati is the first living leader to have her statue installed alongside that of late Kanshi Ram.
