Rajinikanth starrer film Kaala has been in the headlines from its very first looks. Fans of the South superstar always look forward to his films but he too could not prevent himself from the hacker network. The movie was facing controversy over its stay in Karnataka, following Rajinikanth’s comment on the Cauvery issue.
While now it has been decided Kaala will get a smooth release amidst security outside theatres, the film faced another hurdle of online piracy. Kaala was leaked online on Facebook, with the help of a live stream of the premiere.

A Facebook user named Praveen leaked the film and its scenes from its premiere show in Singapore. Following the streaming, there were users searching for Kaala free downloads. But the quick action of the police has helped in nabbing the offender.
Almost 40 minutes of the movie was already leaked on the social media site. Some other user raised a concern about the disgusting piracy that surrounds the cinema industry. The movie is set to release in other Asian countries like India as there is a timezone difference. It is scheduled for a release on June 7.
Supreme Court refused to stay the release of the film in the state of Karnataka. Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya tweeted about the quick action taken in Singapore and expressed the need to kill piracy.
