Woman found mysteriously dead in 5 star hotel

A recent death case tabled before the police have baffled the officials, leaving them scratching their heads.

A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside the bathroom of a luxury hotel in east Delhi’s Mayur Vihar on Friday.

The woman had checked into the hotel with a male friend on June 6. She was found dead two days later.

Her male friend told police that he had left the hotel on Wednesday to meet his father. He also claimed that he made several phone calls on Friday but they went unanswered.

He then informed the hotel staff to check on her. The hotel staff informed that the room was locked from inside and after repeated knocks on the door went unanswered, they used the master key to open the door. They found her lying on the bathroom floor with head injuries.

The woman, who was working in a beauty parlour in South Delhi, was living with her relatives.

The police have sent her body for post-mortem to find the cause of her death. Further investigations are underway.
