Ramadan Special Snacks: Chicken Popcorn Recipe

Chicken popcorn is a tasty, crispy and juicy chicken recipe. It is favourite of all non-veg lovers. In this recipe, the chicken pieces are marinated with eastern chicken fry masala. This makes a wonderful snack or appetizer for kids and young ones. It has an amazing texture that is crisp outside and tenders inside.

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 1/2 kg
  • Egg – 1 no
  • Breadcrumbs – 100 gm
  • Eastern chicken fry masala – 4 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 200 gm

 

Method

  • Clean and chop the boneless chicken into small pieces
  • Take a bowl and add chicken pieces. Marinate the chicken pieces with eastern chicken fry masala and keep it for minimum 30 minutes.
  • Beat egg well with a spoon and keep it in a bowl. Put bread crumbs in a plate and keep aside.
  • Dip marinated chicken pieces in the beaten egg and then roll in the breadcrumbs.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown. Switch off the flame. Drain the excess oil with a tissue paper.
  • Tasty Chicken Popcorn is ready.
