Sanju Samson may not have been the most consistent but not an iota of doubt exist regarding his talent and agility. That’s why the news of Samson failing the Yo-Yo test comes as a major shock for all those who wanted to see him in Indian jersey. Sanju is therefore discarded from the India A-Team that goes to England under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer.

According to the reports Sanju fell short of the 16.1 score which is required to pass the Yo-Yo test. Unconfirmed reports say that Sanju had some health issues and couldn’t prepare himself well for the test. Nobody has been send as a replacement for Sanju Samson and Rishab Pant will be the primary choice to take up the Keeping gloves now.
Sanju Samson had a good run in the 2018 IPL. He scored a total of 441 runs in the season.
