Heath Ledgers legendary portrayal of Joker in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight is really the stuff of genius. One of the most famous villains of all time, ‘joker’ really raised the Batman movie to the next level. But then Sridevi’s daughter who debuted her acting career with Dhadak have made an Instagram post saying that he was the first choice to play the character.

The post includes a picture of Janhvi from childhood in which she is seen in joker-like make up. She has a red nose, lips and blush on her cheek as she smiles at the camera. She wrote in her post “Lesser known fact: I was Nolan’s first choice for The Joker, had to decline for Dhadak! ” Needless to say, the pretty actress only intended a joke.
Janhvi will be seen along with Ishan Khatter in Karan Johar’s Dhadak. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and is an official remake of a Marathi film Sairat.
