Mango lassi is all time favorite whenever I go to an Indian restaurant and if they serve mango lassi. There is no rules over here you just do as you prefer. These yummy lassi doesn’t only help to quench the thirst but also added along a simple meal becomes a grant affair.
Ingredients:
- Fresh Yogurt/Curd – 2 Cups
- Chopped Mango – 2 Cups
- Sugar – 2 tbsp [or to taste]
- Rose Water or Kewra Water – 1 tsp [optional]
- Fresh Crushed Cardamom – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Pistachio – 2 tsp (for garnishing)
- Saffron/Kesar – A Pinch (plus garnishing)
Method:
- Peel mangoes and chop then.
- In a blender or mixer add mango pieces, sugar and puree.
- Now add yogurt, cardamom powder, saffron and kewar or rose water.
- Blend again until smooth or for a minute.
- Pour in serving glass or chill and serve with pista and saffron garnish.
