The tourism department of Jaisalmer has initiated a helpline number for ensuring optimum safety, providing help as requested and facilities to the tourists.
The step was taken after many cases of fraud and robbery were reported, which started affecting the tourism in the city.
The helpline numbers 18601801364 and 1363 will remain active 24/7 and the calls made by the tourists while in India will be free. In addition to Hindi and English, the complaint system is made available in 10 more international languages.
Tourists coming from other states can also take all kinds of information about the facilities along with registering complaints by calling on the helpline number.
