On his 50th birthday Maharashtra Navanirman Sena(MNS) President Raj Thackeray, announced a very special surprise for the people of Maharashtra. Two-wheeler owners were provided with a discount of Rs.4-Rs.9 in selected fuel pumps in Maharashtra. The fuel pumps were crowded with two-wheelers today as a majority of the people filled their tanks full.
Sagar, a two-wheeler owner said that after the fuel price hike it was for the first time that he filled the fuel tank to the brim. He hoped that like ‘Thackereji’, ‘Modiji’ would also reduce the prices and give relief to youngsters like him as the salaries were very less these days.
Today’s petrol price in Maharashtra is Rs.84.26.The MNS workers at the petrol pump will be monitoring and keeping records and will pay the differential amount to the petrol pumps at the end of the day.

The waiver was being offered since 8 AM in the morning and would continue till afternoon, said an MNS worker to ANI.He added that two-wheeler owners would be paying Rs4-5 less at selected petrol stations in Maharashtra.
A Rs.9 waiver was offered to the people in Mumbai’s Shivadi Assembly constituency.
Mr.Thackeray had launched a scathing attack on the BJP led NDA government calling for an opposition unity and a “Modi-mukt Bharat” by 2019.
“India got its first Independence in 1947, second in 1977 (after the post-Emergency elections), and 2019 can bring a third Independence if India becomes ‘Modi-mukt’,” the MNS chief had said.
Thackeray alleged the BJP led NDA at the centre of trying to control media, judiciary and the institutions like CBI.
