Heavy rain has been forecasted in Kerala till Monday. Very strong rainfall will be recorded in isolated places. Meteorological Department has forecasted blowing of the wind at 50km/hr speed, so the fishermen are advised to be vigilant.
Last Day Disaster Management Team ordered Collectors in the hilly regions to open control rooms in their areas considering the possibilities of landslides and flood. Central Water Commission warned of flooding in the rivers of Kerala.

Collectors in the hilly regions have been given instructions by the Disaster Response Team to implement travel restrictions there owing to the rain which will last for several days.
