Putting blame indirectly over the BJP for the collapse of their alliance, PDP leader Mebooba Mufti explained to the Press persons about the purpose of the alliance on Tuesday.
Mufti said that she had handed over her resignation to the Governor and clarified that the BJP-PDP alliance was to solve the issues of Kashmir.

She said that it had been the aim of the alliance to implement a unilateral ceasefire, PM’s visit to Pakistan, withdrawal of cases against 11000 youth etc.
Mufti told the media people that the alliance was not for power and said that PDP had always said that muscular policy would not work in Jammu and Kashmir.”..reconciliation is the key”, said the PDP leader.
