‘The Accidental Prime Minister‘ has ruffled the Indian audiences ever since Anupam Kher’s look as the former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh released online. The Indian political drama is based on the former prime minister’s life and is termed as his ‘biopic’. The film has a stellar star cast and one which is quite impressive!

In the film, 43-year-old actor Akshaye Khanna plays Sanjaya Baru, who currently serves as Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
The 63-year-old veteran actor introduced other characters of ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ on Instagram. Here, he introduces Ram Avatar Bharadwaj, as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee:
Then came other main key characters like actress Divya Seth Shah, who portrays the character of Mrs. Gursharan Kaur, wife of Dr. Manmohan Singh. This is German actress Suzanne Bernert, who plays the role of former INC chief, Sonia Gandhi. Mrs. Gandhi had an active part during Dr. Singh’s tenure.
Anupam Kher has now shared this latest picture from the film. It shows him in conversation with the Gandhi scions (on-screen).
The character of Priyanka Gandhi is played by Aahana Kumra, last seen in ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’. Along with Aahana, Arjun Mathur plays Rahul Gandhi, current President of the Indian National Congress. Arjun starred in ‘Waiting’, which co-starred Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin.
