Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge grabbed all the headlines for so long and had even triggered some political discussions. Just when it seemed like all that dust had settled, Cricketing legend Sachin has come up with his own form of an online challenge – Kit Up Challenge. But don’t worry, this one doesn’t seem to have the potential to cause a political debate. This is just the master blaster urging people to go out and play, share a video of the same on social media. Sachin thinks of this new challenge as an extension of RajVardhan Singh Rathore’s “Hum Fit Toh India Fit”. Tendulkar speaks about the importance of staying fit and healthy in the video he shared. The All-Time great nominates a number of Indian sportspersons including Virat Kohli, Mithali Raj, badminton player P.V Sindhu, boxer Vijender Singh, hockey player Sardar Singh and badminton player K Srikanth.
“I have enjoyed playing all kinds of sports since childhood especially cricket. The fit India challenge is on. This is just an extension of that. Whatever sport you like to play, just go, kit up and enjoy playing. Stay healthy and fit, but above all have loads of fun,” Tendulkar said in a video.
“I’m kitting up to go play the sport I love. Share a video of you playing the sport you love,” the master blaster captioned the video on Twitter.
