A local Congress leader’s son attempted suicide and live-streamed it on Facebook on Thursday. In his suicide attempt video, he blamed his father and sought harsh punishment for him, reported Dainik Bhaskar.
Yuvraj, son of Congress leader Dimple Rana, live-streamed his suicide attempt slitting both of his wrists. He first started a video on Facebook live at around 2:45 pm and spoke about committing suicide for around 24 minutes.

After some time, Yuvraj went live again and attempted suicide. His Facebook friends, however, immediately alerted police and cops managed to find him. He was rushed to a hospital where his condition was said to be stable.
In his video, Yuvraj accused his father of abetting him to commit suicide. According to some of his friends, Yuvraj was would often fight with his father over pocket money. He was reportedly seeking some documents, which according to his father, had gutted in a fire.
His father, Dimple Rana, denied having fights with Yuvraj. “I had no fight with Yuvraj. I don’t know why he named me. I did scold him for his better future. Let him recover and he will reveal everything,” Rana reportedly said.
