Xiaomi has been on a device launching spree recently and it doesn’t look like they have any plans to stop it anytime soon. It’s latest offering is two new mousepads called the Mi Mouse pad and Mi Smart Mouse Pad. If you’re thinking what could they possibly pack into a simple mousepad, you’re in for a surprise.
Mi Mousepad is primarily aimed at gamers. But Mi Smart Mousepad comes with several other features including wireless charging support and RGB lighting effects. Both are currently available for sale in China and the prices start at around CNY 49(around 500rs).
Mi Smart Mouse pad’s standout feature is its support for wireless charging. It can charge both wireless mouse and smartphones compatible with wireless charging. It also features a temperature control technology by which the charging will be switched off when it is fully recharged. A chip that sits inside the mouse pad will recognise if the device kept on it is rechargeable or not.
On the Mouse pad’s top right corner sits an aluminium alloy knob to change the lighting mode. Users can rotate it to change the RGB light colours. It supports about 16.8 million colours. You can connect this to a PC using Bluetooth and then use it to control the volume. Xiaomi claims that the surface coating of the mouse pad will ensure smooth and accurate surface.
The Mi Mousepad is more focused on gamers. Its surface costing will help to improve sensor performance and mouse speed tracking. Also adds to its utility is the suction cup which will keep the pad in its place.
The mouse pad measures 355x255x2.35 and Weighs 196 grams.
