A theatre manager and the workers were beaten up by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena(MNS) workers for a strange reason. The theatre which sold Rs.5 worth popcorn for Rs.250 was barged into by the MNS workers who asked the Manager and the workers there, whether they were not aware of the High Court ruling to reduce the popcorn prices.
MNs workers showed the paper cuttings of High Court ruling to the Manager. But the reply given by the manager made MNS workers angry and they started beating him up. The manager said that he didn’t know Marathi. For this, the Nava Nirman Sena workers started to beat him telling him that if he had to work in a place, he should know the local language.
