An accident case has been reported where nearly 50 people had died as the bus fell off a gorge.
At least 45 people were killed and many injured in a bus accident in Uttarakhand’s Pauri Garhwal district on Sunday morning.
44 people died on the spot while one succumbed to injuries after being taken to a hospital in Dhumakot. Eight people have been injured and are being taken to a local hospital.

Speaking about the accident, Garhwal Commissioner Dilip Jawalkar said 20 bodies have been recovered and the number of casualties is expected to rise.
Owing to limited resources in the far-flung area, police found it hard to initiate rescue operations. NDRF forces have also reached the location to facilitate rescue work.
The mini-bus was traveling from Ramnagar to Bhoan when the tragedy struck at Pipali-Bhoan motorway.
