Police have reported that all the culprits who were arrested were not college students. It is said that there are about 15 more members in their gang. Police conducted a thorough search in the city limits to make sure the other gang members are not getting away.
Campus Front and SFI compete to gain more space on the College wall. SFI added the word ‘Vargeeyatha’ (Communalism) as a prefix to the Campus Front’s wall writings and it is what gave rise to the debates, according to the sources. SFI alleged that Campus Front’s annihilated the flex and boards they had prepared for welcoming the new students.
