A day after a West Bengal BJP worker went missing, his body was recovered from a pond in a village in Murshdabad district, reported news agency.
While the police investigation is underway, the state BJP took to twitter to accuse the ruling Trinamool Congress of killing one his workers, Dhormo Hazra whose body was dumped in a pond with his hands tied. The party tweeted, “Dhormo Hazra, Dalit(Chest thumping liberals, please take a note) killed by TMC goons in Murshidabad, West Bengal. Yes, his hands were tied and thrown into pond to die with unbearable pain, Why? He was a BJP worker. In West Bengal reason enough to killed by ruling party terrorist.”

The allegations of the murder of a saffron party worker comes a month after two other BJP workers were killed in the state. While a 20-year-old BJP Yuva Morcha member was found murdered on 30 May, another BJP worker was found hanging from an electric tower in the Purulia district of West Bengal just two days later.
