Central Sports Minister and India’s Olympic medalist, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathod on Wednesday hinted a new change in Sports Authority of India(SAI). Though an official announcement has not been made yet, Minister considered renaming of SAI. As the new name has not been found and an official declaration not out, for the time being, Sports Authority of India will be called Sports India.

The Minister also announced that some posts would not be retained after officers on them retire. He also said that a committee was formed to raise the daily expenses of food for athletes.
