The brutal murder of 20 years old Abhimanyu, who was a student of Maharajas College in Ernakulam took a new turn. The Remand Report filed at the court by the Police identified a larger conspiracy behind the student’s murder. Total 15 persons were convicted of the murder as per the Remand report. Along with the Remand Report, the Police also submitted an application to take the accused into their custody at the court.

Abhimanyu, a second-year BSc Chemistry student at the Maharajas College in Ernakulam, was murdered on Monday dawn during an altercation regarding poster sticking with Campus Front activists of the college. The deceased was also a member of SFI Idukki District Committee. The Police had then said that the Campus Front activists were suspectedly behind his murder.
