Krunal Pandya and Deepak Chahar had a reasonably good IPL season for their respective franchises. After delivering such good shows, a lot of us had expected them to be on the team to England, but instead, they were included in the India A-Team. But then, in an unexpected turn of events, the two were recalled to the Indian squad after Jasprit Bumrah and Washington Sundar were ruled out due to injury. A video has now surfaced where both Chahar and Pandya are seen standing on a chair, giving a speech, while others watch. If you think this is some kind of ragging, it isn’t. It is the customary newcomer speech inside the Indian dressing room.

In a hilarious footage, the two were seen standing on a chair and talking about their journey in cricket and giving their introductions. Coach Ravi Shastri could also be seen sitting there listening to the two youngsters speak about themselves.

“It is such a great honour for me, Krunal Pandya, from Baroda, Gujarat, India,” the 27-year old allrounder was heard saying in the video.
