Tronx Motors, previously known as Volta Motors, has announced the launch of its smart crossover electric bike, the Tronx One.
As an introductory offer, limited units of the e-scooter will be launched at Rs 49,999, in two colours: Magma Red and Pacific Blue.
According to the company, shipping will commence from 16 July for the first batch of customers who have pre-booked their e-bikes.
As for the bike, it features a mid-step through frame, designed intentionally for basic comfort and ease of use for anyone who rides it. Pedaling power is assisted by six-speed Shimano shifters while the three electric gears extend and adjust the range and speed of the bike. The e-bike also comes with a smart display which uses the tronXTM platform to connect to your smartphone, enabling you to get an estimated range of the bike and set fitness goals.

The Tronx One will be available in nine cities: Mumbai, Goa, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, where customers can check out the bikes based on appointment slots.
When launched, the Tronx One will compete against Hero’s OZONE 650B” 7S, priced at Rs 45,490, the Being Human E-Cycles BH27 (Rs 40,000) and BH12 (Rs 57,000).
